Earlier this week, Dota 2 as leading contender in Esport in terms of popularity and history was well not really shocked upon the sexual misconduct cases which probably plaguing almost every industry today. Sexual misconduct allegation against big name in the game has recently emerge.

the statement was tweeted by Evil Geniuses today dismissing one of the team’s English caster. Apparently the said allegation happened long time ago. Grant apologized though a series of tweet saying he regrets what has happened and decided to take a long break if not retired from the Dota2 Scene.

To make it even worse apparently according to Anthony “scantzor” Hodgrson a former coach and dota analyst, Grant has been showing a consistent pattern of harassing and degrading woman inside the industry.

Gaming has always been a man’s world but Everything is man’s world even for things that you would think woman will have the domination of. With this in mind sexual harassment bound to happen on this industry too.

Its not really a shocking news these days. More people are coming out to tell out these sexual predator. Pioneered by #metoo movement of holly wood this cancel culture is not without a problem for both sides (Ex. this and this). Many has been becoming the victim of action that they did years ago from comedian to politician and even gamer apparently. However, we feel sorry for those who has to go through all of these harassment and could barely speak years after the harassment happened.

And just like what happened to these holly wood top executives i guess more cases will resurface soon.
